Mulch is one of those things that makes a massive difference without a lot of fanfare. When it's fresh, the whole yard looks pulled together. When it's faded, thin, and breaking down - everything else suffers for it. That's really what a mulch refresh is about. Not just looks, but getting the beds back to where they need to be.
We worked through several different bed areas on this property. Some were larger sweeping island beds with boulder accents and perennials just starting to push up. Others were tighter tree rings and narrow runs along the property edge. Each one got the same attention - clean edges, consistent coverage, and fresh shredded mulch laid in to bring the color and depth back.
One thing worth knowing about mulch - it does more than look good. A proper layer helps hold soil moisture, regulate ground temperature, and slow down weed pressure. If your beds are thin coming out of winter, they're not doing much for the plants growing in them. Getting that depth back early in the season sets everything up better for the months ahead.
We do this for residential properties of all sizes. Whether it's one bed around a tree or a full property with multiple zones, the process is the same. Measure it out, bring in the right amount of material, and install it the right way. No shortcuts, no mess left behind.
If your beds are starting to look like they need some attention, this is one of the easier wins you can get for your landscape. The difference between worn-out mulch and a fresh layer is night and day - and it doesn't take long to get there.
