Landscape Fabric 3oz Spunbond Non-Woven

Constructed of 100% polypropylene, this landscape fabric offers excellent water permeability allowing for a high level of water to easily pass through the fabric. Excellent for use in drainage and filtration applications. Nonwoven geotextile fabrics are produced by needle punching staple fibers in a random pattern to form a high strength, dimensionally stable fabric. The polypropylene fibers resist UV light deterioration and will not react with commonly found soil chemicals. The fabric is rot and mildew resistant, non-biodegradeable and resistant to insect and rodent damage. Since these geotextiles provide a combination of strength and filtration, they are commonly used in french drains, subsurface drains, asphalt overlay and as support under pavers and roads. This lightweight fabric provides a long lasting, economical solution to many landscape applications.

This Fabric is great for use under new driveways or parking spots along garages. helps keep gravel mixing or sinking into mud/dirt.
These heavier-weight fabrics are designed for applications where higher strength, stability, and performance are necessary. This fabric is one of the most commonly used geotextiles for road stabilization, ground stabilization, and aggregate separation. Made of polypropylene, the geotextile is UV resistant as well as being resistant to commonly encountered soil chemicals, mildew, and insects. Non-biodegradable. Polypropylene is stable within a pH range of 2 to 13, making it one of the most stable polymers available for geotextiles today. This fabric is also useful for filtration purposes as it restricts the movement of soil particles while allowing water to pass through. The fabric is also useful for erosion control as it helps hold the soil in place when used under gabions. Also useful for shoreline restoration.
Double Excelsior Netting

Biodegradable erosion control excelsior netting is designed to actually promote ideal growing conditions for grass seed while protecting topsoil from wind and water erosion. Wet curled excelsior fibers slightly expand in thickness and interlock to form a strong, fiber matrix and creating a built-in swell factor. This allows the fibers to have close contact with the area it is placed upon. Basically, the mat clings to the soil with “barbed” fibers to reduce soil loss and strengthen the foundation. Water flow tends to follow the curled fibers while the roughness of the curled excelsior slows the water flow speed to a point where gravity takes over. This allows moisture to slowly seep into the topsoil instead of running off and creating erosion complications.
The top of each blanket is covered with photo-degradable or biodegradable netting. The blankets are naturally seed-free and contain no chemical additives. Aspen wood fibers are a renewable resource and act as mulch providing nutrients to the soil during breakdown. The fibers can be either natural or dyed green for instant color.
